Hi, I wonder if anybody can advice on this
The monitor main problem was a flashing power LED .
I did replace the two bad 5707's the other two checked OK
The bottom CCFL SMT 4431 was completely fried and fried the trace too. I did manage to replace it to find that the small 3 leg transistor (if not mistaking) right next to it is fried too so I replaced it. the back light came back alive while the top back light stays off which was really weird !!!, If I bush the start button the top light will come on too not as bright as the bottom one. If I push the button to turn it off...

Hi to all.
This monitor has been driving me nuts for the past two days and I just can't figure it out so i came in for some help.
The main problem is the monitor will not turn on just a flashing LED on the ON button.
The back lights were checked to be OK
All the caps checked ok with and ESR Tester.
All the diodes checked OK – Desolder one leg and test with a smart tweezers.
MOSFET Tested Ok.
Resolder all the joints on the back side.
And still no go – so I figured maybe I should try to power it from an external power adapter but there...
