Hi All,

I had this television spark on me. This made the television not show the red light. I had opened up the board and noticed rte801 and rte802 have blown on the board.

I replaced them, and was able to get the red light to come on when powering. The unit will keep clicking and the display will not come on. The fuses are intact and do not blow when attempting to turn on the display.

I haven't tried a reflow on the main board/power supply and am wondering if this should be my next step.

When you repaired the trace, did you extend the trail as I've attached?

I don't have the schematic for this part and have the exact same issue as you.

Does anyone know the model number for the thirmistors on this board? I've got a pn50a550 with two of these that have blew.
