Sorry that I was unclear. Factory resetting broke the TV. Clearing the EEPROM has brought it back a bit, but going through the setup has broken it again.

I live close to shop Jimmy, do I want to pick up a new EEPROM, but I'm not sure if the CA02 chip will work with the CJ05 board....

FYI. I had this happen to a set. All that I did was factory reset!

I have a TV that has no image or sound. It gives a blink code of 1 short, 3 long. The service manual says: Initial communication from the main CPU is not
received. (Request for the monitor model No. is not received.) → Communication line failure or main CPU start-up failure.

1) Is there any troubleshooting I can do to possibly replace a single component or check the cables before ordering a new main board? (visually, the components look fine)
