I had the same problem when I had replaced the sony vaio screen. It was not showing anything on the screen. I double checked the wires again found that the cable connecting to the mother board was out.

It is a Hard disk failure. You need to replace the hard disk and install the operating the system again. If you data is very very important on the hard disk you can get it recover from data recovery center. But it will cost you for it.Leave a comment:
