Thanks Gingerbeer, yeah checked the fuse first and it seems ok, tried to check the diodes in circuit but as I understand it you can't check diodes in circuit. About out of ideas.

Anyone have any thoughts? I have noticed some around the WWW that have posted about fixing the 3007 by replacing D22 but can't find D22 - possibly D221?

What strategy do you all use to test the components of busted PS's?...

Hello, I recently was given a Dell 3007wfp monitor that doesn't power on. No amber light, no nothing. Did some research and found some very good information for the Dell 3008wfp here - ([url]https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=14195[/url]) and thought it would translate to my monitor. Got it apart and there isn't a corresponding D22 that I can see and no bulging caps.

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the correct direction as anything would be very appreciated.
