Re: CH341a - Questions
Hi Katfish, could you tell me anything about the right position of the adapter board onto the CH341A mini programmer? I've got the same model but in my case the card can read bios (MX25L1005) only with adapter rotated of 180 degrees, as you said... Could you help me? And I'd like to see the discussion video you referred to... Thanks in advance for answer.

Hi,
What I did was to get a replacement mosfet first. Once you have the replacement on hand I cut the legs off the old mosfet with a scalpel or razor blade. Then I used the soldering iron and a solder sucker to remove the remains of the old mosfet legs. Don't use too much heat with the soldering iron or you might pull up a trace. Gentle and slow are the keywords. Once you see the solder melting (add some fresh solder if you don't see them melting) gently push the leg side ways. Don't pull it up. After that I used soldering braid and solder to clean up the pads though this may not be necessary...

Dear sparker1, I've read you fixed a C500 motherboard with defective mosfet on it (I've got a C500 with same issue), according maiohardware suggestions, could you give me some tips to desolder then to solder the mosfet? Thanks in advance for you reply, best regards
