I have looked at page 31 and am somewhat confused by it's vagueness.
I found IC55OO but do not see where I should be checking the voltages. In other words I don't find any voltage references on the top of the Main Digital Board (on which IC5500 is located).
One of the diodes (D6700) is on the bottom and listed as 5V, but I have been a little wary about removing the boards and then plugging into power, because of shock/short hazard. If that is really what needs to be done, I can...

Sanyo DP32640-05 K8LK troubleshooting...please help
This LCD TV will not turn on. When the power switch is pressed, the green LED on the front lights for a few seconds and then turns back off. There is no sound, (snap, crackle, pop, or other) and no picture or light from the screen.
I initially disassembled the entire set to inspect all of the circuit boards (top and bottom) and found no obvious burns, loose connections, pinched wires, or swollen caps. On a hunch, I replaced the main analog board, but that made no difference.
I have downloaded and studied the service manual, but am rather confused as to where exactly some of the voltage...

Hi everyone. I am always up for new challenges and when my son's TV stopped working, I figured it was way past time to learn how to do some electronics repair. At this point, I may or may not succeed, but in my quest for information, I stumbled across this forum. I am glad to see there are others out there that are willing to share their knowledge!
