Hi. I have received a Lenovo Yoga 500-14IBD with a flickering problem when it is running in battery mode.

When in battery mode, the DCBATOUT_LCD voltage ranges from 7.5 to 7.8v. When it is at 7.5v there is a flickering of the backlight. With 7.8v the flickering disappears. If it is with the charger connected DCBATOUT_LCD is 19v. All Ok.

In the diagram we can see the backlight voltage in battery mode is 10v. If we only have 7.5-7.8v, problems ...

I have the same problem. In these cases and as it is a 19v line, I will inject voltage to a power supply. I usually start with 1 volt. Having a short circuit, the current source will fire to several amperes. Typically C short burning or hot.

Also you can unsolder the capacitors one by one. When many capacitors, it's crazy!...
