Re: *Please help* GRUNDIG GULCD37HDIT wont turn on
Got the tv working...after some serious technical help!
Thank you Tom66
Here's how it happened...
Replaced LDO U713, part 1117-33.
Output voltage was unstable 1.3V to 1.7V, changing when power button pressed. No shorts on output. Temporary bodge job connected 3.3V from one part of board to other - set then powered up.
Freeze-spraying regulator did not affect performance.
After this test showed signs of life, regulator was replaced with...

OK...I've used a resistor to limit the current....there is no 12v while the +5vstby and stby are connected
The back lights do not come on.
As for the writing I've attached a picture wasn't sure what you meant. They are labelled x532 and x521
Second picture is the actual inverter board....Last edited by simple-me; 01-20-2014, 11:29 AM.

Re: *Please help* GRUNDIG GULCD37HDIT wont turn on
The only3 voltages coming up when turned on are where the 5.6v were showing. I get 5.6v at the +5vstby pin, the other 2 are showing 0.33v.
I cant find a fuse on the main board similar to how you mentioned, maybe Im looking in the wrong place??...
