Thanks for the reply, I have just put the original board back in and now the unit powers up fine (spose that warrants a refund from the ebay power board!) however now the LCD appears to be totally black, no picture or menus, but the backlight is active (if I tap on the screen I can see the backlight is working)

Hope everyone is well today? This is my first post on here (apart from the obligatory welcome post).

Im having some puzzling issues with a Philips 37" tv that wont power on. The model number is 37PFL662D/05.

I started having an issue with vertical lines showing on the screen after circa 30 minutes usage and decided to swap the video processing board. However since then the TV wont power on. Just to try and get this issue dealt with.. I purchased a new power board (both parts are eBay purchases but sold as tested and working...
