I have seen this error on a P6T Deluxe V2 socket 1366 motherboard, is it likely the same solution ?
Also, it appears that cleaning the board well could resolve this as well, is that correct ?

As old as this thread is, its the first solution I've seen, in a LOT of looking, that seems to delineate the exact CAUSE of the fault. Very, very useful information.

Win7, but its the ONLY version of Windows that actually works properly. I have some computers in the house that have NEVER had a single hiccup running Win7 for over 5 years. They're just as fast and safe as day one, unlike every version of Windows before 7 that would gradually slow down and become unusable.

If one doesn't click on anything without knowing first what it is they're clicking on...Windows is fine. I've "repaired" peoples computers over run with virus/malware/etc, and its always because they've clicked, downloaded,...

Price paid is the biggest consideration, IMHO...ALL the stuff you posted links to were so over priced as to be poor purchases. $5./card would be max, and with the cost of shipping, you're paying too much for anything from ebay unless you can walk over to where it is and pick it up without paying shipping...

Do you have a local recyclers near you ? E-waste facility, etc ? That is how to get items for repair. Place an ad offering to pick up e-waste for free in the local classified*(kijiji, craigs, whatever is popular...).
