I hear you Tom, and certainly value your opinion which is why I just called Costco back and talked to them about that scenario. I asked that if Panasonic descides not to fix it was there ANY reason why Costco wouldn't take it back. They said 100% no reason Panasonic could give them that would cause them to not take it back. They said that if Panasonic deems it non-repairable (they say it's based on cost of repair) then I can just bring it back to Costco and i'll get money back. They also said that I can still purchase the 3 year...

UPDATE: Panasonic Canada is sending a service tech to my house to fix the TV. I sure hope this is the right way to go. I guess if the issue is fixed then I should have a good tv.

Darn, for that price point I don't think I'll find another plasma like it. I purchased it at Costco and they will take it back no problem and give me my money back....

Panasonic TC-P60S60 New and no go
Got myself (and family) a P60S60 for christmas and wouldn't ya know it when I powered up for the first time all I got was a screech noise and nothing on the display. I could just take it back and get my money, but I can't find another (not even an ST) and I don't believe Panasonic will be sending more out?? Discontinued?? At least that's what I'm being told by most retailers. Any ideas on this as far as fixing? I'm going to try and call Panasonic Canada directly tomorrow to see what my options are. I purchased this thing at Costco online and they say I have to just take it back and they'll give...
