There have been some changes in the Badcaps.net ordering system.  You no longer have to send in a request and wait for an email with ordering instructions.  You may now simply click on the kit you need, and check out quickly and easily.  I still accept Paypal (credit & debit cards through Paypal), and checks/money orders.  If you don't have a Paypal account, and want to use your credit or debit card, that's no problem!  While credit card and debit card payments are processed through Paypal on my end, you ARE NOT required to have a Paypal account to order from Badcaps.net if using a credit or debit card!

I do add new kits to this list from time to time when I see a particular board becoming more and more common for having bad caps. However, I only make kits for commonly failed motherboards/systems. Just for the do-it yourselfers, I have started selling capacitor kits so you can rebuild your own motherboards. From all the feedback and questions I've received in the past, the most common was where do I get the replacement caps??

Most component vendors sell in quantity, so simply ordering a quantity of 10 or however many you need for a small job can be very frustrating. If you plan on recapping one board, what the hell would you need 100+ capacitors for!? This is why I now offer 'Cap Kits'.

I have created Capacitor Kits tailored to your specific motherboard and system.  Most all component vendors deal in large quantities, making it a difficult experience to purchase capacitors for a small recapping venture or project. Many vendors won't even talk to you unless you plan on ordering 1000 capacitors or more. The ones that will charge up to $2.98 per cap for quantities under 50!! OUCH! My kits have exactly the right amount and proper value capacitors to successfully complete your recapping. This way you're not buying more capacitors then you need, plus tech support is available if a question arises.
