I'm surprised that there's still some mobo manufacturer use GSC caps. And about Asus, shame on them! Abit or albatron is free from bad caps now.. with lower price tag and higher quality of mobos..

days are so short when you actually do something..
If they are in the power section you may want to consider replacing them, I have them on my PCChips M848 too... Generally regarded as junk.

How's the quality of OST? Have some on my ECS board along with United Chemi-Con and Matsushita.
I also have an ECS (K7S5A) whose CPU VRM caps are 100% OST. None have popped in this case, despite prolonged use of brutally high Vcore and CPU power consumption. Then again, OSTs in such locations have very often failed, too often to be simply due to "the odd bad batch" or such.
Basically, they're not the absolute worst, like Chhsi, but they're not that much better either. Mediocre, one could say, perhaps comparable to fuhjyyu.
...
PS. Perhaps we could even have something of a "star" rating system for electrolytic cap brands... something like:
5 stars: Rubycon, UCC, Sanyo (Almost never bad)
4 stars: Nichicon, Taicon (only very rarely bad)
3 stars: Teapo and such
2 stars: Fuhjyyu, OST
1 stars: for those already-popped-before-use brands, like Chhsi, TMS, Glory Smooth Company...
I take it you have a K7S5A Pro then... I had one, wish I kept it..
PS, I'm a moderator at two K7S5A forums.. lol

Absolutely, revision 5.0 "Pro" edition - you've got some impressive knowledge of the motherboard-to-cap relationships there!
Alas, it's not really in meaningful use anymore - it's part of the "spare" machine that I put together a while back from all the old unused 'junk' I had amassed.
My "personal" machine is built around a Tyan S2865, which I, of course, couldn't resist buying when I saw all those Rubycon caps it bore .
BP-OMowe, it was only their HM/HN models and only for part of 2002 and 2003, if I remember correctly. (They were overfilled with electolyte I think.) However, large quantities of caps from that batch went out and caused many problems in various machines. I have two Intel boards with them, one of which is OK (but I'm watching it), in fact. The largest, most known failure was probably in Dell OptiPlex GX270s like the one above.
You know there's something wrong when you open up a PSU and are glad to find Teapos. Why I don't buy cheap cases!
I find Dell OptiPlex GX270s at work with them every once in a while...
