Hello all. My name is Jason and I am searching for whatever information you may have to help me resurrect a Velodyne DLS-4000R Sub from the grave. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hey Hey, my name is Nikkii and a self confessed dumbo when it comes to anything tech. I've been scouring the net for any info and have hopefully "thankfully" found Badcaps.
I have a BIOS password issue with my HP laptop that HP support say is basically a "Trash yr pc" situation and buy a new one.
I refuse. I NEED files on this laptop desperately. Can you guys help me out?
So it's a HP Elite book 840 G3. I know it's a little old but it's done me well and don't want to change!
It recently did a system update and had finally pushed through a few updates that weren't downloading. Once the updates finished it came up with the dreaded BIOs Password. I don't know it .. who does???
The point is I've tried everything and can't crack it ... Can you help?

Hello Badcaps community. New user here doing my intro. Old Assembly guy from waaay bitd. I did quite a bit of picMicro development using "Microchip" chips. Still have tubes of them laying around somewhere. Anyway, i've recently acquired an Asus Flow z13 and need to get past the bios password so I'll be here digging around to see if i can solve the mystery using others' previous posts. I'm sure someone has run into this before. Thanks to all the admins for the amazing site and wonderful resource.

Hi there, I'm an IT professional from the United Kingdom, but this forum is for my interest in general electrical repairs that I make in my spare time- electrolyte capacitors of which often form the basis of a repair to start with, if the soldering iron has to come out...!

I'm new to electronics, but I've wanted to get into since the 80's, but info wasn't as free flowing back then as it is today with the internet and sites like BadCaps. I've started tinkering with 2 Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 TI Gaming OCs and a Zotac Geforce RTX 3080 TI Trinity. It'svery rough in the begining when you've never messed with electronics! But sites like this and folks like Tony with NorthWestRepairs, make learning and testing a lot easier than flying in completely blind. Hopefully I can make a hobby out of something I've wanted to do since the 80's!

                                  Hi all,

New here. A short intro: I like to repair and make all kind of things and do this as a hobby. Not so much experience with electronics but have a automatic/computer science technology faculty so I'm not that noob. Know how to measure voltages, what is a rezistor, mosfet, capacitor, basically some basic stuff. I'm trying now to fix a PSU and need some help after reading similar topic here.
