Hi all from the USA. Repairs I am working on right now:
1) Several Legion Go consoles. Currently tracking down a controllers not recognized issue on one logic board. Ruled out a ton already.
2) Ps5 CFI-1015B that had a bad PSU which was replaced and now beeps with no lights and fan spins continuously while the console gets and stays around 70W with no video until turned off.
3) Xbox Series X with a failing/nearly dead (but hardly used?) SSD. Tried cloning to another drive from a donor unit and full clone failed and so did just partition 1 alone.

I'm an old guy with five kids who's trying to get back into motherboard repair after nearly 28 years.

Back in the day, I repaired and refurbished computer motherboards. Those boards had big ICs and transistors, and I could see everything with my own eyes. These days, the components are so tiny that my magnifying glass has become my most important tool!

Technology has changed a lot, so I feel like I'm starting over. I found this forum and hope to learn from all of you. My goal is to crawl first, then walk, and eventually run again.
