Hey everyone!

My name is Alexandre, I go by cobralillo — from São Paulo, Brazil.

I'm not a technician or engineer, just a sales professional who ended up with a locked ThinkPad T14 and decided to figure it out instead of paying someone else to fix it.

Spent the last couple of days reading chip dumps, learning about SOIC8 clips, UEFITool, hex editors... things I never imagined I'd be doing. Managed to successfully read the BIOS chip with a CH341A — which honestly felt like climbing Everest for a first-timer.

Found Badcaps while searching for a way to remove the SVP and immediately realized this is exactly the kind of community I needed — people who actually know what they're doing and love to share it.

Looking forward to learning from you all — and hopefully getting this ThinkPad back to life!
