Hi, is there any way to dump and write the eeproms without a chip programmer? Everybody has here a device like T48, CH341A etc. ? If yes which is the cheapest one it works for most of the chips on dell, hp etc.?

Hi everyone!

My name is SIKORAK666. I'm 36 years old, and I'd describe myself as an "electronics gambler" – a hobbyist who just can't sit still without a soldering iron in hand. My main passion is music – I play, and for the past few years, I've been building guitar effects pedals and tube amplifiers. I love that analog grit, but I also enjoy dabbling in digital circuits from time to time.

Beyond audio, my second love is old-school gaming. I repair NES and Pegasus consoles – from simple switches and broken traces to replacing dead PPU chips. There's something magical about bringing those old boards back to life after a good cleanup.

And to keep things balanced, I also enjoy tinkering with modern tech – in my spare time, I work on various projects using STM32, Arduino, and for simpler tasks, Raspberry Pi Zero. I'm still not sure who's smarter – me or the MCU – but I'm working on it 😄

Hi Everyone, I am joining today to seek some help with a BIOS lock on my Acer laptop. Beyond that, I am looking to get back into tinkering with electronics as a hobby, working with circuit boards and doing some repairs. Glad to have found this site!
