Tv powers in all the leds are working but no picture .

quick test, try it with one ribbon cable connected then turn on tv, then try the other cable so one connected at a time, best policy is to do all connecting and un-connecting with tv unplugged from power to avoid any errant surges and such.Last edited by nomoresonys; 11-26-2022, 05:14 AM.Quit because THIS SITE LETS A ROGUE MEMBER TYPE ANY GARBAGE HE PLEASES AND THE POWERS THAT BE NEVER DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT SO HE NEVER QUITS. Tried unplugging 1 ribbon cable powering it up then plugged it back in and unplugged the other .
Same results leds come on but no pictureComment

Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.
The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.
Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.
First replacement T-con:
I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)... -

Got this working ips led monitor by the brand of
Iiyama Prolite XUB2390HS presumably a 23 inch type given to me with suspected bad led backlight. To test it, i unplugged the bad flat ribbon type connector and plugged it a good flat ribbon led connector scrapped from a HP Pavillion 27cw (led strip with 60 led). Good news is the HP led strip lights up but not fully, in between there are about 15 unlit leds.(as picture attached shows).
Fyi, i had not opened and removed the old bad led strip. My question is whether is it possible to cut some of the extra leds(say... -

I'm having an issue for several weeks with my quite old K70 LUX RGB keyboard. I haven't used it for few months, and once I setup up again my desktop computer, I got several dead LEDs on that keyboard. I tried the Corsair troubleshooting thing (disabling options in iCUE, ...) but nothing changed so I conclude that for some reason some LEDs went in retirement...😅
Decision taken to change these LEDs as I have access to desoldering iron and binocular magnifier, I wrote a ticket to tech support, hopping to obtain the LEDs reference and... They refused to tell me 🙄...10-08-2024, 11:58 AM -
Hoping someone has troden this path before !
I'm looking at a JVC LT-39c790 - a vestel based unit.
So, the remote turns it on, led's light up but no picture at all.
I have a spare mainboard, so I know its not that. The PSU seems ok too.
On the AUO T-Con I've got 16v on HAVDD_H but nothing on HAVDD_L - which I'm assuming should also be 16v ?
So, Ive resorted to testing eveything I can on the board as I can't find any schemas for it (AUO 39T15 C04 Ctrl Bd) and I think I've found a diode gone short. it marked D005 on the board and E1 on the package... -
Got another TV headed for the dumpster the other day.
Nice TV although it has those silly One Connect input boxes.
When TV is plugged into mains you see the backlights flash on amd off a few times then you get red error flashes at the status light. Backlights 'looks' uneven at startup but i have learned that looks are deceiving and they should be tested.
When i took the back off i unplugged the mainboard and the LEDs came on and stayed on. I then tested each led with my backlight tester and their voltages and amperages all read the same. So this eliminated...
