    Lg 55ln5700

Of course, worked great for a period of time! Before it could run for any period of time and then will reboot itself. It did not want to shut itself off a few times, so I had to pull the power plug. Now lucky to get 1 minute of video then reboots.
Drops out too fast to get some voltage readings.
Have worked on many brands before but not familiar with this problem from LG. Thinking either the BG soldered main chip is in need of reseating or perhaps an Eprom failure. Main board failure or entirely wrong-LEDS??
Main chip doesn't get hot enough to shut it down.
Have not dug into the LED driver yet or tested the strips with an external tester.
Thank you for any help you may offer.

    Main board: EAX65399305(1.0) 13.11.27 PU42A/PA42A/PD42A

    Symptom:
While watching, just went black and started clicking relay every few seconds.

    Initial diagnosis:
Removing JUST the main CPU/Input PCB from circuit stops the clicking. No problems with any other boards/drivers. (Removing all other boards and only putting Main back in is all it takes to start clicking again)

    Deeper diagnosis:

Is it possible to upgrade from a Vestel 17MB97 main board to a 17MB110 Main board?
    by cheeky2
I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection...

Sceptre U550CV-UMR 4K LED, Bad Caps on Main Power Board?
    by Dani_2024
Hi and thanks in advance for any input you might provide!
I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.
Main power board model: TP.MS3683.PC821 T-Con board: N4TP546UHDPU2L_BO

Last Sunday I was watching a dvd and fell asleep for about half hour, when I awoke the tv screen was black and couldn't get the dvd menu to show, so I changed the input to antenna and had sound but no picture, turned it off. I then got online and found this great site! ....read many troubleshooting tips and this...

HP Inkjet printer main board bulging cap failure
    by howardc64
Fixed a 10yo HP inkjet with a bulging cap on the digital computer power rails (1 to 5V). Unstable voltages causing these inkjets to not boot properly or crash quickly. Seems like more and more of these are showing up nearing the 10 year mark. Board design seem to look similar for many of these printers.
