FUNAI/SANYO FW55D25F Shuts Down Randomly

I have Sanyo 55" TV that randomly shuts off..

Sometimes it will stay on for 5mins or so, sometimes it shuts off after a min or two...

When it DOES stay on, it works fine...

All things being equal, would it be more likely a POWER Board issue or a MAIN Board issue???

maybe check all the solder joints on powerboard, inspect cable from powerboard to mainboard for burn marks or a bad wire, see if wiggling makes a difference, could be an iffy cap on powerboard.

Is the backlight shutting off or the TV? What happens when you turn down the backlight level?

Thanx for all the replies...

I have been out of the game for a while.. A bad LED strip did not occur to me.. Thanx..

The whole TV shuts down.. Not just a backlight shutdown..

If it's an LED Array replacement, I can just forget about it.. I don't have the time nor the space to tackle one of those... And they ain't fun to begin with...

I am thinking a Power PCB replacement is going to be my best bet...

Update...

Got a replacement PSU board..

Now it only comes on for a second or two and then shuts down..

Assuming the part I got was good, it's now looking like an LED STRIP problem..

Sound about right??
