I would've just said, NO extra charge for the smudges, it's just the autograph of the artiste.

I've got a hisense 58G2A300 with a shorted surface mount zener diode ZD5 on the bottom of the power supply 5835-L6R023 I don't know the voltage of the zener can someone please help me out. I'm just started using this site not too familiar with how it works. Thank you in advance for help with this matter.

          What are markings of diode?
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

Look closely, you might have component/s across it making it read shorted, carefully take it out of circuit and remeasure.

If you don't solder much, definitely practice on a scrap circuit board before hand.

I have one of these with bad led's determined using the flashlight test and was wondering how the bezel comes off. I see screws on the bottom but none anywhere else. Do you have to pry the bezel or pop it off?

Yes I recently changed leds in 2 of these. Just take your time, be gentle and use an old credit card, gift voucher to gently pry the bezel clips till they snap out. Don't get rammy or pry to hard or will bust clips off. Youtube shopjimmy has good videos on that model so you can see how it's done.

For sure remove those screws at the bottom first, then start prying one of the sides at the bottom.

So I've searched the threads and found this which is similar but not exactly the same.

                      https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?p=1120104

Stby light is solid red, I hit power, flashes 2 times slowly and remains red. Doesn't flash anymore.

Getting voltages from 12v as 12v the 20v pins (or whatever) are constant 20 v the standby volt is 2.9v and they stay steady the whole time even when power button is pressed. The filters are about 390V and look fine.

I've disconnected every cable and tested and same result.

                      When I test...

Hi all, I browsed previous threads on Hisense TV's but had some questions I haven't been able to sort out myself. This TV has a red standby light that when powered on, flashes twice, returns to steady, and cycles a few times before returning to a steady solid red.

Poking around the power board (P/N rsag7.820.8349) I have the following voltages with everything disconnected:

                      Main board connector:
12V ~9.3, STB ~0, VAMP is transient; first measured ~18 and gradually dropping to sub-16V.
                      Bridge Rectifier: (+) to (-): 167VDC
                      Filter caps: 368VDC
                      ...

Can I Swap Screens Between Two Hisense 75” QLED TVs?
                      by ShahZaib Ghumman
                      Hey folks,

I'm not a professional, but I do have a decent amount of knowledge when it comes to electronic repairs.

A friend of mine recently bought a brand new Hisense 75” 4K QLED Smart TV (75E7NQTUK) but unfortunately, he cracked the screen just a few days later. Luckily, he had insurance and got a replacement right away but weirdly enough, the insurance company never asked for the broken unit back.

So, I took it off his hands and figured I'd try to repair it myself rather than see it go to waste. I've been searching for a replacement screen but can't...

Originally the tv arrived with dimmed backlights (not failed leds) but everything else worked ok. Adjusting backlight in menu did nothing but voltage changed on dimming control pins,
                      0% p_dim at 1.65v and a_dim at 1v
                      50% p_dim at 3.3v and a_dim at 1.65v
                      100% p_dim at 3.3v and a_dim at 2.88v

Changed backlight leds anyway as always like to have complete peace of mind they wont fail shortly after selling the tv. No change as expected!

Leds are 2 rows of 15 6v leds.

On inspection of the power board found diode MBR3200 shorted so replaced with...
