" means the panel is already broken so I won't care to find new ESD diodepacks to the bufferboards."
that's nota good idea, the next surge will destroy easier the rest of drivers without diodes..

i did find this pack of 10 Pins D at my scarp 1 for hisense and another for Philips. they are 3 in group like the one you showed here. if the DM on Diode mode. (-) on pin 1 will read nothings over all the rest pins from both side. only one D will read 0 (peep tom ) netween pin 1 and 10. this is the same at other TV.

if pin 1 (+) the rest will read some Diode value 965 or doubled , but the one D of the group which i mentioned before will read 0 as above. Notice both TV was just cracked screen with full display before scrap them and took the buffer boards as parts.

Thanks Diah, the thing is I have already removed the diodepacks since I was suspecting them at fault, before going into the clock lines troubleshooting.
So now I need to find the partnumber of those diodepacks so I can mount them back.
                The old ones are gone.

ok from my notes file, in Italian:
Per TV Samsung con guasto ai diodi tvs schede pannello provare a cercare rimpiazzo uClamp6514P (UCLAMP6514P.TNT) o forse alternativa uClamp4014P (UCLAMP4014P.TNT) di Semtech

these small ants can handle very few current so i think a better replacement would be full size tht tvs diodes, i don't know if there's space for them

You can dream, typical italians (I have family in Italy), there is absolutely no place for any THT devices inplace of the small ones...

But do you know what signals the diode packs protect ?
I mean it's only 4 diodes in each package and there are 3 packages per buffer board, so is it TX lines or CLK lines, or VGH VGL lines which is protected?
I could install bigger TVS across the decoupling caps if I knew more about where they are installed.

Those ESD protectors are mostly useful for external connectors like HDMI, USB.
I would just leave it alone.
Better invest in surge protector for mains and antenna (if used).

Hello. I mounted new ESD diode packs, but then the same symptom came back.
                              I used the IP4283CZ10.
When remove again set is working.
From what I can see, the pinout is the same on original and the new ones.
I wonder, what required voltage is required to drive the clock lines, perhaps the new ESD diode clamp to early?

Today I measured the clocksignals that the ESD diodes protect. The amplitude is about 27V peak so the suggested ESD diodes clamp way too early.
That's the reason for not showing a picture and reboot.
There must be ESD clamp diodes with higher voltage rating.

                                    - sound and backlight, but no picture
                                    - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
                                    - it keeps rebooting
                                    - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
                                    - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
                                    - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.

                                    Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode...

I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and

I was given this TV as due to a power outage of constant On/off of power to TV. The TV originally would just click on and off (Typical Reboot Cycle). I opened the back of the TV, and troubleshooted by taking the 96 pin LVDS off one at a time to see if I had a picture on either side. I finally fixed the reboot cycle by finding the error on the left side of the screen off connector CN 1301, and the TV would stay on. Further troubleshooting led me to the driver boards where...

a friend of mine gave me this TV to fix, with common SAMSUNG TV issue - damaged panel. Turning on, sound is present, but no picture. So I went directly to standard process, connecting two pads together with a wire ( see in the picture ), and then removing flex cables. With right flex connected, there was half screen working, but still no picture ( disappearing colors and similar weird stuff ) + working sound. With left flex connected, TV is restarting + working sound. I supposed, left side is damaged, so I then blocked all 8 CLK pins ( going from 0R resistors on the second...
