LG 50Lf6090 only backlights after replacing LED strips

I have an LG 50LF6090-UB that had a picture but started flashing on and off. Tested the LED strips and it had several bad LED's. Replaced the LED strips and turned the TV on and it only had the backlights on. Researched the issue and purchased a TCON board online. This did not fix the issue. Researched again and purchased a Main board on line. This didn't fix the issue either. The only thing now is that the backlights turn on as soon as I plug in the tv without touching the power button. Any help to identify the problem would be appreciated.

Sounds like you damaged the panel since you should have seen an image with the backlights flashing before. TV will remember the last state it is in when unplugged so will turn on automatically in this case. You can try connecting one side of the ribbon at a time between the tcon and panel to see if one side displays an image.

Unplug one side of the screen at a time see if there’s a picture
Check all connections too for damaged connections on all lvds cables

Thank you for the information. I appreciate it. When I unplug one of the LCD panels from the TCON board, one side is white and the other one showed the LG screen and then part a box to make a selection. It was very clear. I plugged it back in and unplugged the other one. one screen was white and the other had some vertical and horizontal lines and had the other side of the of the selection box but it was not as clear and it looked like it was rolling like it needed a vertical hold on the old tv sets. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

May have cracked corner of panel. Check for shorts on the long board connected to panel. Compare voltages between both sides. Inspect closely for damage. Something got screwed up upon assembly.
