You are doing everything correctly, only the contacts on the chip must be cleaned of flux, rosin, solder residues and the contacts on the block must also be clean...

I installed a working mainboard taken from a ue55mu6120k and it's perfectly working without modifying anything, even on the 25q80, nothing. But I'd like to fix the original one. I wrote the original dump I posted here and it used to turn on and off with no video, but now it doesn't boot at all, I don't know if the reason is the dump, which may be corrupted as you suggested, or a matter of register, although I followed your instructions. Isn't there any way to write a "default" firmware for this model? What if someone has a TV with a faulty flash - and therefore with no dump to fix?

There is no standard firmware, since it changes when updating the software, the software version 24Q40 must match the eMMC software version, if the standby mode does not appear (STB LED does not light), then the dump is not recorded correctly (status register) and the first time it is turned on, it is damaged again. ..
The fact that you posted your dump, was it original, native, or was it after experiments, recorded on it without saving its original?

I can fix any original dump from this "MU" series or look for a donor (motherboard)...

it was definitely original. But the native problem of the tv was not "no standby at all", it was booting with backlight and no image, 4-5 seconds with audio then off and reboot again. I desoldered the 25q40, read it and posted here without doing anything else.

Ok. Don't forget about the register status...

I flashed the bin and register value but the TV is still dead. I read the chip back and the bin was intact. Thanks for your time.

It's strange, but everything should have worked if everything was done correctly, except that it wouldn't have hurt...

Here, in my opinion, I didn't see anyone except me that I could check and correct. Try it.

Hi, I have a Samsung ue49mu6470 with the stand by LED off problem. The power board works fine as does the panel. I would like to try with the w25q40cl firmware fix.

Try it. Change the program to NeoProgrammer V2.2.0.10, it works more correctly than Asprogrammer with status registers settings.
