rollingback firmware more easy.. because downgrade you need old firmware version which LG remove them from download. unless you write at any forum of this model if some one upload it for you.

however i will try to write to you later how to rollingback the firmware.. mean while when you install the old T-CON did you screw it complete with the metal shield and chassis ?
Yes you right should try rollinback firmware, I will really appreciate any suggestions how to do it, whenever you got time.

The old T-CON been always with the shield ON to the panel chassis, and I try even without and just the screw , just to see any difference, nothing change still turn OFF , and if you insist to turn on back it's turn off quickly then the first ON … it's coz something getting hot and go in the protective mode I believe

No luck to be flush the NAND the chip looks to sensible to be unsoldered and re soldering

I m still searching what parts from the old T-con made to turn off after few sec probably by any parts getting to hot and then go to protection mode , what about the MOSFET ? Can be the problem?

Hi , thank you, for confirming that, that makes hardly now to read data from the NAND I didn't see in the pic for NAND reading device in the one I just order for eeprom chip

Any easy ideea how to copy data from the one you said? Thank you

Re: LG OLED 55EG9100 TCON troubles

I believe that any OLED 2019 up the panel ( screen) come with his T-Con board some how are married panel+t-con

So for my first post, was about if it’s possible to copy data from the Old T-CON without soldering the chip , and then write the data in to the new T-CON ( probability T-con and panel share same information)

But before that like Diah said to try rollingback or downgrade the firmware and then give a try install old firmware in to the tv and see how it’s going on

Hi , I remember now that I did update to last version firmware when I fix all the parts ( new motherboard, new T-CON from broken screen tv ) to the panel with the T-CON that switch off after few sec with messages in IN-StART “power_off_due_to_cooling”.

I did IN-STOP after few refresh pixel and nothing changes from the vertical bands

If I swap the old T-CON even with his original motherboard or new motherboard will work but like I said it's switch OFF after 30 sec

See pic attached with the good panel and new motherboard + OLD t-con
