    Sceptre x322bv No Backlight

    I have a Sceptre x322bv with no backlight, trying to find the pinout on the LED supply cn5 red wires have 12v and blue wires have 1.23v Does anyone know what voltages I should be getting on this connector?

    99% of issues with a LED TV turning on with no backlight are the backlights burning out and they are your first suspect. You should replace all the strips with new but difficult to find new strips for off brand TVs. To test, you can check for a spike of voltage going to the LED strips (red/white connector on top), test each individual LED with a multimeter in diode test mode, or get a LED tester.

      Was hoping to find out what the driver voltages should be before tearing into LED strips. The 1.23v seems very odd.

        Most models with Samsung an exception have protection shutdown in the LED driver circuit. You need to probe the LED voltage as you turn it on and observe the spike before it shuts down.
