Re: Samsung UN70NU6070 TV Issue - HELP!
This is why you buy a warranty on new tvs today. Costco doubles the manufacturers warranty. A lot of the tvs they sell have a 2 year warranty and they double it to 4 years. WISE BUY. I personally wouldn't buy a new tv unless it has at least a 4 year warranty.

Re: Samsung UN70NU6070 TV Issue - HELP!
You have a cracked side part, after you have also a center crack or a cut in a cof tab.. tv for the landfill... i hope you were non alone, it's fool to dismantle a giant tv by himself..
Next tv let to add to it by a technician a protection for the transients, either outside or inside the tv, for example some varistors, maybe the next tv will last longer also the backlight...
Haha take your tampon out. The tv was a free so why not attempt to fix it. That's why we're all here right.Leave a comment:

Re: Samsung UN70NU6070 TV Issue - HELP!
Looks like you have damaged the panel/ cof tabs. You should have asked for a replacement under warranty since the tv was 1 year old and not fuck around change every part of the tv just cuz the colors are a little bit of.
Sorry but the tv is not repairable anymore.Leave a comment:

normally don't crack screens in that area. I'd check ribbon connections or you have tab bond issues.Leave a comment:

Re: Samsung UN70NU6070 TV Issue - HELP!
It's 100% nothing to do with any of the color settings. I've tried a million variations but the issue still remains. Next step is to order led lights. I'll keep everyone posted. Thanks all.Leave a comment:

Re: Samsung UN70NU6070 TV Issue - HELP!
Much probably bad backlight, must check power supply output tensions for the leds, must be in the range, if not it can ruin the led phosphors by too much tension. If those are ok so are bad leds.Leave a comment:

Yes they do but I have never found a samsung with that fault. Mostly vestels and LG. The picture will get blueish but I don't think this is the case.Leave a comment:

Re: Samsung UN70NU6070 TV Issue - HELP!
The led strips could cause the color discrepancy? Am I wrong to assume the leds only assisted in fixing dark spots on the screen.Leave a comment:

Re: Samsung UN70NU6070 TV Issue - HELP!
Could be the backlights. The phosporous on some of the LEDs may be failing causing a shift towards blue/purple (or pink before it gets to blue/purple).Leave a comment:

by vincentedelHello,
I'm having an issue with the Samsung 740n's phase control setting. When I use the automatic adjustment, it sets the value to around 54 (with a range of 0-100), and the picture looks clear and sharp. However, after some time—like after playing a game—the text starts to look blurry. When I auto-adjust again, it may increase the value to 80, and everything becomes sharp once more. Yet, after a while, whether it's a few hours or a day later, the same blurriness returns, and I have to adjust it again.
I'm using the Samsung 740n monitor drivers instead of the default plug-and-play...-

by ManucslHello.
My TV is a QE65Q800TATXXC Samsung TV.
Issue : When you plug the 220V, voltages are OK on the power board and you can hear the click from the relay, but TV is not starting when power button is pressed. Red led is blinking when you press power button. But no images or sound ( Back-light is off )
Then if you disconnect the cable from the main board to the power supply, the TV back-light turns on.
Any ideas to check would be very appreciated 😊

by FourRunnerI purchased a used Samsung TV model UA65JS9000W recently knowing it had an issue with the screen. When switched on the picture was bright both sides of the screen but a little darker in the middle of the screen. Thinking this was the back lights (side mounted LCD strips) I replaced these, however the issue is still there. I am now thinking it may be a TCOM issue, but am not sure, any advice on this would be appreciated. Also whilst changing out the back lights I noticed the the thick clear plastic sheet (maybe 1.5 to 2mm thick) below the diffusers there is cracking (up to 75mm) on the sides and...1 Photo

by ScHAmPiHi all,
Because of two bright spots and a couple of dark spots I decided to replace the backlights in my Samsung UE48JU7000. See attached photos:
I thought all went well, but after full assembly and testing it out it turns out not all is fine. The backlights are completely fine but I have some weird issues on the right half of the screen. Since I didn't really touch the T-CON board (apart from taking out the ribbons of the display and reconnecting them on assembly) it would be weird that the issue is with the T-CON board... But based on the behavior of the service...2 Photos - Loading...
