zukdj, you sold me x750F kit with exactly the same problem you described, no image.
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/265220939467
I assume it's exactly the same board you had trouble with. I did run update and LED status indicated that it went through, but still blank image.
You are telling me that I destroyed the board when plugging the cable. I think you did this as you had troubles with ripped cable, not me.
Really great payback for offering my help.
    I need my money back.

Just for your information the package sent to you was for a 55" TV that a customer purchased from ShopJimmy and then decided to purchased a new TV instead of dealing with it, the TV is still sitting in my garage ripped apart but I had no intention of doing anything further with it since I hate SONY TV's. I got the parts for my time working on the TV for them. The TV that was mine is broken screen now. If you think coming on here and chastising me is a good idea, it's not an appealing way to resolve an issue on another website. I have 100% positive feedback on eBay since 1998 and while I appreciated your suggestions my issue was quite a bit different on my TV which was it cycling on the screen, red blue, green, white over and over and then after a reset sound and backlight and then red, blue, green, white again. I'll refund $35, half of your money and you can keep all the parts. I am quite sure $35 is a pretty good price for those parts and I am sure the parts aren't faulty. I won't do any better and eBay doesn't require me to refund anything because it was clearly listed as a final sale on electronics.

I just want everyone to know, I refunded the entire amount to this individual before it will be shipped back to me. This was an unfortunate event that escalated because of some mental health issues and a few very bad days.

Yes, I got my money, thanks. I will take care of shipping it back. Hopefully we will do something more productive in this forum.

You may have already, I would try another usb drive and try the firmware update again, maybe even download the firmware again, in case it got corrupted somehow.

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
                by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

Sony KD-55XG9505 lines on screen problem
                by Chrissygizmo
                Hello again everyone,

This is my latest mission, to try getting this Sony tv back to normal working order…

I've only just got it today, when you power it up everything is as should be, in fact it works perfectly for a few minutes then the screen starts getting horizontal lines on & eventually the full screen goes back, I will upload photos of the problem & also some photos of the board etc. You might notice that I'm busy trying the tape method, I'm not sure exactly where the clock lines are so I'm just guessing & hoping for the best lol . I've already tried...

iphone XS turns off when press on screen.
                by smic717394
                Hi,

I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...

                A) TV initially dead
                B) On a hunch of a locked up Google OS, plugged in a USB memory stick with latest FW and plugged it in. It booted into the update screen, completed the update and restarted to Home screen.
                C) Was able to perform a Reset from Settings menu and completed out of box configuration.
                D) Ran a 4K screen saver demo for about 6 hours, then turned it off for the day. Did not notice any stripes, dead zones or other artifacts in the image.
                E) Powered back on and it now runs for a few minutes before relay clicks, screen goes blank, Main Board Red Digital Optical...
