Toshiba 24d143db not working, standby blinking red/green

Hi all , I thought I could tackle this problem without having to bother you's lot "AGAIN".

Toshiba 24d143db (Vestel 17IPS61-3) , I thought was going to be a straightforward diode replacement , however after replacing diodes D9 (UF5402) , D10 , D12 & D25 ( SB5B0 )I'm still left with exactly the same problem, not turning on & standby light flashing red/green. I've ended up resorting to Google & I'm seeing it could be a firmware issue?

To be honest, I don't know how to (firmware) . I know how to download a file to USB but what do I need to do afterwards? The screen doesn't come on so I can't go into the menu etc

download the firmware for your model, put it in usb and plug in botom usb at tv while unpluged from main power.
plug main power and press ok at remote control.
should work.
im having similar problem. i tried programing nand and now it does not blink led anymore. i read this nand usually break at this vestel boards.
im waiting to have my own programer to try and see if i can just program my nand or order a new one
i did a firmware brick and lost backlight. when i tried to reprogram nand lost the blinking led

p.d. when you plug usb and plug tv to main power, led blinks faster when ok is pressed that means tv still has response to remote and should start update.
i lost that blink light reprograming nand this last try. i think my nand is broken took too long to read and write. maybe the programer i use... dont know hope to find out soon

thanks a lot! tried but mine does nothing. no blink led, only green, no control remote response no vestel app from mobile phone no from toshiba remote

i think when firmware is corrupted, led blinks, when firmware is deleted (how i think i did) stays green i think i read this here somewhere

LED blinking because short circuit or corrupted firmware. If Firmware deleted led not shining.

When upgrading firmware press and hold “ok” button until led blinking fast.

so what means only green you know it?
do you still think i can do something by usb??? really? that would be great but all the times i tried all the softwares i have i had nothing no led blink, no backlight, only the green light ring i was pressing ok at remote but nothing changes on tv i also tried pushing on/off button at the side, nothing

but i brick it, i saw this tv working with vestel firmware.
then i break it installing wrong firmware because vestel firmware does not work with toshiba remote
maybe i have broken the mainboard or power board by firmware?

then i did spi programing, no changed, then nand programing and i think something went wrong at this point. then tv led does not blink i want to try do it again as soon i have my own programmer

I read first message and you write about pwb fault. That’s why I suspect pwb.
Vestel, toshiba or other brands including 17MBxx chassis detects rc signal when booting. Remote control type (vestel or toshiba) not important until tv boot up.

Vestel, toshiba or other brands including 17MBxx chassis detects rc signal when booting. Remote control type (vestel or toshiba) not important until tv boot up.

Thank you all for your input, before reading your replys I managed to get a bang from the power board so instead of messing about with the original pwb I rebuilt another VESTEL 17IPS61 that I had been using for components, I managed to get it back to the original state , I got impatient and passed it on ..

reprograming nand memory with correct firmware. first time my friend did and his programmer did not worked fine. slow reading and writing but no errors. i ordered a tl866ii plus, arrived this morning and today did my first tsop soldering looks not too bad
tv started as a new configuration. everything perfect
