Samsung UE46F6500SDXZT - Lower half of screen moving purple lines.

I have a Samsung UE46F6500 SDXZT with the bottom half of the screen showing purple lines and sort of a lower resolution. These lines appear and disappear in response to motion on any part of the screen. For example they will appear below any popups (no signal etc) and moves sideways to stay below the location of the popups. Screensh1.jpg and Screensh2.jpgshows the issue and Samsung_Problem.zip is a video of the issue as it happens.

I've tried replacing the TCON board but nothing changed. Wiggling the connections doesn't seem to affect anything on screen.

I've attached pictures of the boards in case they are of any use.

Anyone have some time to spare to help out with this? Thanks!

    1) Can you feed the TV with video signal and show us the screen shot of what the whole screen look like?

    2) What is the history of the TV?

    3) Any one clean the screen by spraying the cleaning liquid on the screen?

Taken some pictures and a video in the attachments. The last pic of the car is a closeup of the screen at the point where the defect starts showing up - the pixels seem further apart than usual?

A relative gave me the TV after it broke so I don't know much about its history unfortunately. Apparently it developed a "line" at the middle of the screen which kept getting worse and worse over a few weeks/months to the point it's at now.

I wouldn't be too surprised if it was cleaned with liquids to be honest but I'd like to think they'd know better...

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply

Do you think this is a board issue or could the screen itself be screwed?

          Screen Display Vertical Multicolor Lines
          by Stanley1843
Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesn’t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

          Samsung UE55JU6800K half screen dark
          by Chrissygizmo
Hello everyone, I’ve just been given a Samsung UE55JU6800K smart tv as it had white spots on the screen due to the led lenses falling off. After refitting them & putting the tv back together I thought it was a nice easy fix for a free bedroom tv , then I tried it before screwing the back into place. I realised that the right side of the screen was darker than the other side, I removed the screen again as I thought the backlights had failed but they are fine.
I put the screen back in place & turned it back on . The screen seemed to be ok again but different screens on the same...

          Samsung QN50Q60t lines on screen
          by jeyoung12
          Hi all
I have lines on the screen...which is an age old problem that can be remedied by watching Youtube videos and getting out the tape.
My issue (after successfully fixing a different sammy tv with a separate tcon board and isolating the side of the panel...):

This tv has an integrated tcon...so it is a bit more confusing when trying to isolate the clocks.
It has a c ribbon and i have taken each end out to see if that will isolate the lines. instead, it makes it much worse ALL over the tv!

So....i don't know what end of the C ribbon to work with...

Sony XBR65X900H TV with Horizontal Lines right half of screen
          by dvu0627
I have a Sony Smart TV XBR65X900H that started to have horizontal lines on the right side of the screen (see attached picture). When I played video on Youtube green horizontal line at regular intervals(1/4") across the screen.
I replaced the T-Con board but the lines are still there.
I believe this issue is from the Main Board. Before I replace the Main board, I wanted to seek advise if this is the problem from the Main board or something else?
          Thank you for the help....

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
          by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...
