Vertical wide white stripe in 55" TCL roku tv

Hi, my 55S403 TCL Roku TV is suddenly showing a single wide vertical white stripe (from middle of the screen- ~8" wide). I started with cleaning and then changed the main board and the LVDS cable that runs from the main board to the display board. But no luck yet. Note: 1. the service# for my TV is 55S403TFAA and there is no T-Con board. 2. When turned on I see white light on the backside of the TV across the width- so, assumed no power board failure. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Vertical bands are bad connections on the flex cable (or bad embedded ICs) from the panel boards to the panel itself. Not repairable. If you ripped them off in the same location, you would get a similar result. Here is one with possible liquid damage since they are at the bottom of the TV.

Thanks for your answer neilc6. This makes sense. By liquid damage you meant flex cable connection or IC damage by liquid spill or something and not the damage of liquid crystals in the display- right?

Yes liquid spill or windex since the panel boards are typically at the bottom and not at the top.
