On some tvs if you st the headphone setting to audio out, you can get sound from both headphones and speakers, not sure if that tv does tho.Comment

Replace the amplifier IC. You'll need to use hot air as the bottom is a large soldered ground pad.Comment

Is there any way of checking its def the amp ic before replacing as I wanted to avoid doing that if possible.
I dont think its getting warm, will check with thermal gun.Comment

Block condensators make problems around original IC and becouse of that you dont have sound on original IC : MrReeceyburger123

Update: attempted replacing the ntp-7100 and still didn't work, possibly my soldering. Oh well, worth a go! Perhaps more practise needed.
Anyway picked up a cheap replacement board, £14. For that price I thought it easier and quicker than further troubleshooting which may have led to a bad uc ic anyway.
p.s. that was a damn good price for one of those boards, all others are extortionately high!

I've recently been given a Sony 8k Z8H. It's got a white screen with two vertical black bars. At times it's given me the 5 blink Tcon code. Testing voltage on the Tcon I can see some low or missing voltage. I've done a basic visual check of cables and the COF. Not seeing anything obvious. The original Tcon seemed to have good caps until turning it over. On the bottom I found maybe 10 caps with both sides of the caps shorting to ground. I thought ok these caps and likely other components on the Tcon are shorted so let's try a replacement Tcon. I just received the... -

Hope this finds you well. This LG 82UN8570AUD (April 2021 model) 4K UHD television has full audio capabilities but video is compromised / problematic.
When I picked up this large LG tv it had a full black screen upon startup. Previous owner said it just went black one day. No popping sound or anything else of note.
I got the display to work by taping off several traces of the right-hand side ribbon cable on the TCON that leads from TCON to PANEL. However, despite dozens and dozens of attempts to find the right combination / range of traces taped... -
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -

i have a 65 Panasonic TX-65HX710E using vestel 17MB170 main and Lg tcon.
Few drops of water fell probably near COF and have no display. Tried removing tabs but no.part of display present as if tcon fuse open. However 12v is present and tcon can be felt warm enough that supplies are present. Backlight and sound ok.
Anyone knows if this TCon 6870c-0805A has any special test pins for rgb test?
Appreciate your help.... -
Have a Samsung UN50NU7400 which shows a boot screen and a screen saver if left on long enough but no picture ?
Would a moving screen saver confirm that the panel is ok or it could still be a panel issue ?
