Samsung UN65JS6000 lines in screen and reboot

I have a Samsung UN65JS6000FXZA and have been having issues with it over the past few months. I will randomly get vertical and horizontal lines red and green and they get worse and worse until the entire Tv just resets. Sometimes it comes back on and it's fine sometimes this cycle continues for hours.

I have opened it up and checked for discoloration on cables (burnt) or anything else but dont see anything obvious. I had read on forum that cables could be a cause but I don't seem to have any bad cables.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Picture and all is great when working so hate to trash.

Try powering up one side of the screen at a time by disconnecting each ribbon cable from tcon to panel, one at a time and see what you get on display.(always disconnect and reconnect cables with power cord unplugged to avoid any damage) Cables should come off easily, never force anything.

Make sure the cables are seated properly, maybe clean them, some use a pencil eraser or a swab and isoprophyl alcohol, not too hard they can be delicate.

I wonder if it's a graphics fault. I don't think it looks like a panel/COF fault. The lines being displayed appear blocky.
Do you have pictures of the back of the set showing circuit boards and layout?

What's the power supply board number?
Can you post pics of the individual boards

The photo's don't open up large enough to see details on the circuit boards.

Does the set run longer when the back is left off before the lines appear.

Do any of the supply voltages drop when the lines start to appear.

It would be interesting to see what others may think could be wrong.

Are the voltages correct as given on the silkscreen and do any of them drop when the fault appears?

the pictures appear to indicate that you did not take enough stuff off to get at ALL the cards... in particular the tcon which is under the lower "tin can". Check the cabling there and do the tests as indicated in post 2.

                            Hi all
I have lines on the screen...which is an age old problem that can be remedied by watching Youtube videos and getting out the tape.
My issue (after successfully fixing a different sammy tv with a separate tcon board and isolating the side of the panel...):

This tv has an integrated tcon...so it is a bit more confusing when trying to isolate the clocks.
It has a c ribbon and i have taken each end out to see if that will isolate the lines. instead, it makes it much worse ALL over the tv!

So....i don't know what end of the C ribbon to work with...

                            Screen Display Vertical Multicolor Lines
                            by Stanley1843
Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesn’t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

                            by Chrissygizmo
Hello everyone, I’ve just been given a Samsung UE55JU6800K smart tv as it had white spots on the screen due to the led lenses falling off. After refitting them & putting the tv back together I thought it was a nice easy fix for a free bedroom tv , then I tried it before screwing the back into place. I realised that the right side of the screen was darker than the other side, I removed the screen again as I thought the backlights had failed but they are fine.
I put the screen back in place & turned it back on . The screen seemed to be ok again but different screens on the same...

Vizio TV M50-C1 reboot cycle and static on screen
                            by spice_disc
I'm currently trying to diagnose and fix my Vizio TV (Model M50-C1). I've tried a number of different basic solutions, but I'm trying to determine if my issue is currently a failing panel, T-Con board, or main board (or something else entirely) and whether or not it is worth my time to fix it. Details of the issue and what I've tried are below as well as why I think it is either a bad panel, T-Con board, or main board.

The Issue: The TV will be on and working fine but after the TV is on for ~5-10 minutes the screen will freeze (with sound continuing) until the TV reboots itself. While...

samsung galaxy ao2s very temperamental after screen replaced
                            by Chrissygizmo
Hi , I've recently replaced the screen in my Samsung galaxy ao2s, at first it wouldn't even turn on, it had the charging symbol on the screen when plugged in but the green circle wasn't going around to show it charging....
Ive eventually managed to get it on and working but it's very temperamental...

The battery icon always reads as 50% , when the phone goes into lock screen mode i sometimes can't get the screen back on unless I plug the charger in to get it to light up, also it keeps putting the camera app on.. u think it could be something to do with the side buttons. ...
