    Hisense LEDN55T28GP green and red horizontal lines and increasing white space

    Good evening all

    I have a bit of a doozie, I've looked all over the internet but cannot find a similar case as mine, and am starting to get frustrated.

    So the main problem I am experiencing is horizontal green and red lines spaced out equally.

    Secondly ( as seen at 0:48 a bit) is the ever increasing amount of white on the left of the screen with a vertical bar or two. There is a portion of the screen at the bottom that doesn't have these line, but has some ghosting from elements that are on the screen.

    I am able to access the menu as well as change input methods. I have also connected my pc and I get display from the PC, with the lines of course, so i believe the logic board is fine and it should be the t-con. However my TV repair knowledge is pretty limited.

    I got the broken TV for free so I don't mind spending some cash, I just don't want to waste money by incorrectly purchasing a t-con, only to find out it wasn't the culprit.

    Any advice or references would be appreciated

          hi guy my friend gives me this tv a 50tu8070u that has no picture at all, sound ok, backlights ok. i tought it was a bad panel, but the tv has many horizzontal lines green, i tried with the tape method but nothing change, only the green lines disappear but still no picture. You that have more good than me, do you think it s a panel or can be the main board, because my friend wants buy a new main board....but the tv respond to the remote control, have sound only no picture so i think it s a panel problem that is so broken that i cant fix with tape...or i wrong if someone can help me thanks, i give...

          good night! I have this tv with several problems. I imagine the darkened area is a failure of the backlight. but in the photos you can see a worse problem. I see horizontal lines and spots. I don't know if the TV has been opened, but they look like stains from handling inside the sheets. on the other hand I am concerned about the horizontal lines. I don't know if it could be a panel failure, and if it could have happened at the same time as the dark zone.

          opinions?...

          Hi, I have a Sony XBR-65X750D that has horizontal lines at the bottom 6 inches of the screen. These lines appear to be every other line because the picture is still quite visible behind those lines. The lines appear all the time with a few other lines above and below the 6 inch level blinking on and off at about 2 second intervals. I'm not sure if this is a panel issue or power supply/main board problem. I did replace the T-Con board without any change in the problem. Any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated.           5.5 year old 85 inch Sony Bravia X950G started showing gray horizontal lines across the bottom of the screen and the picture shifts slightly vertically when it happens.
