    faulty AY160D-4HF12 power board

I Have received a TV that someone worked on and removed the following components
    Q4, C27 and R41
from the colors of R41 from photos online it is a 0.3ohm resistor but I can't find any schematic of the board online.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

R41 can't be 10k it is 0.3Ω It is the fet's source resistor.

I looked a a few power supply schematics and the value for C27 could be around 20~220 pf and the originals are usually 1KV but its best to use a 2KV replacement
Samsung board BN44-00338B uses a 12N50 mosfet and the cap from drain to hot ground is a 220pf/2kv so it might be similar

What is the P/N printed on SMPS IC1?
C27 is the snubber cap for MOSFET Q4, it is connected to Source and Drain of Q4, typical value is 220 ~ 330 pf 2KV.
The application circuit of IC1 may show the value of snubber cap.

                    Hello,

Sorry to bump an old thread, but it might assist those who are in the same scenario.
                    I'm interested in resistor values:

                    r9
                    r10
                    r11
                    r12
                    r13
                    r14

or a high def / clear picture of the back of the board.

                    Thank you

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                      Assuming...

                      Hi everyone,

I'm working on an Acer Nitro 5 unit with the following specs:
                      • Motherboard: LA-J871P Rev: 1B
                      • Model: Acer AN515-55-59MT

                      Initial Issue

The laptop initially presented graphic issues and driver failure (Code 43) for the GPU.

After preventive maintenance (cleaning, thermal paste, etc.), it powered on normally. We disassembled it again to inspect the GPU, reassembled...

Sceptre U550CV-UMR 4K LED, Bad Caps on Main Power Board?
                      by Dani_2024
Hi and thanks in advance for any input you might provide!
I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.
Main power board model: TP.MS3683.PC821 T-Con board: N4TP546UHDPU2L_BO

Last Sunday I was watching a dvd and fell asleep for about half hour, when I awoke the tv screen was black and couldn't get the dvd menu to show, so I changed the input to antenna and had sound but no picture, turned it off. I then got online and found this great site! ....read many troubleshooting tips and this...

Panasonic switching power supply daughter board has two 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors which I do not keep in stock
                      by sam_sam_sam
I did not have any 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors but one nice thing is that it has enough room for two capacitors in parallel a 22uf and a 4.7uf @ 50 volts 22 plus 4.7 equals 26.7uf which so very close to 27uf I will show some pictures of it sometime tomorrow

This is one of the shit est boards I seen in a very long time and it was the daughter board the traces just lifting off the board I had to use the capacitor leads to repair the the traces and the main board is not any better because I had to repair several traces for the daughter board to the main board

(SOLVED) - ONN 100012588 No Power, Then Rebooting After Main Board Change

Issue: No Power, Then Rebooting After Main Board Change

Short answer: replace main board and power board
Technical answer: replace main board and Q306 & Q307 on power board.

                      Long answer:

TV wouldn't turn on. Power switch was fine which means the main board isn't processing the power on signal. Replaced main board. TV turns on now but randomly reboots. Bad main board? EEPROM? Tried to pull main board and got a shock touching the corner of the board. That's weird. C334 (450V 10uf) capacitor is still holding a high charge....
