Samsung LN52A630M1FXZC that does not have standby light and will not power on

I have a Samsung LN52A630M1FXZC that does not have standby light and will not power on. This uses the BN44-00201A power supply board.
I ordered the repair kit for this board from ShopJimmy and installed the following.
    QP801, QP802, DP802, ICM801, CM851, CM852, CM854, CM855, CM856, CM858.
    FS801, FI801 tested good.
When I applied power the TV came to life and all was good for about 5 minutes.
Then there was a loud snap and it went off.
No burning smell, but under close inspection I found CM814 (470pf 1KV) to be split open, and FI801 to be blown.
I have power to the rectifier, but no voltage to CN801. My electronics skills are limited.
Any ideas on a path forward?

You are sure you didn't get any parts in backwards?

I've checked several times and verified that I installed the components the same way the original parts were installed. The banding side of capacitors lines up with the marks on the circuit board.

CM814 (470pF) is the snubber cap (these cap will shorted out when they go bad, it is commonly failed cap, it should be replaced with 2KV rating instead) for the MOSFET QM803 so you need to check the resistance of the Source resistor RM834 to see if it is blown open circuit or not, it should be <1 Ohm.
        See schematic attached.

I checked the in circuit resistance of RM834 and it is approx 0.5 ohm.

LG 55EG910V - no power and no standby light
              by AleMonti
              Hi everyone,
I'm trying to troubleshoot and repair this old LG OLED curved TV, model 55EG910V.
I did some basic troubleshooting and reviewed most related posts here, but I wasn't able to isolate the issue.

The TV shut itself off during playback and never came back to life - the standby light remains off. My dad claims that it has happened a few times in the past but the issue resolved itself after some time. Not this one.

After checking the basics I did the following:
              • I measured all voltages and as expected the only active supply is the 3.5V standby. It

Sony Bravia XBR-65x900f: No Power, No Standby-light - however 3.3v STBY is present
              by SkishyIshy
              Hey All,

              I have a Sony 65x900f that I purchased cheap because of a no-power issue.
I assumed that because there is no standby light visible, it would be an easy fix - however upon opening up of the unit I can confirm that the 3v3 standby voltage is making it's way from the power supply to the main board. I'm a little confused as to why there is no standby light.

I am firstly wondering if anyone has this model of TV, or has worked on one and can give me some insight. I have tried to find a service manual for this model, to no avail - and would really appreciate...

              No standby red light, nothing
This Sony has a separate AC->DC power adapter supplying 19.5V to the TV power board (JK3)

Disconnected JK3 power board from main board, checked voltages on all the pin outs

At a few pins I can see the power supply providing 19.5V to the main board

Based on the service manual triage.. it seems to be pointing towards the power board (JK3) being the most possible culprit

LED light turns on when I disconnect LED driver board ribbon from mainboard (so i thought it is the mainboard,...

Samsung QLED QE65Q7FNAT only standby light

              TV: Samsung QLED QE65Q7FNAT
              PSU: BN4400940A
              MB: BN94-12832K

I got the tv in spring 2024. At that time it started, then ran 60 sec and poweroff. Seemed like reboot issue. I didn't have time and room to check it in summer so I plugged it in and now the standby light is on. I press button on remote, standby light goes off and tries to start?. No picture or backlight on LCD. I thought about removing diodes like in this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...sung-qled-q60r...
