LG 47LB650V LED strip changing - question

    Hi guys
Just a quick question - how do I remove these stupid plastic standoffs so I can change the LED strips? I tried to remove three of them but all I get is bits of broken plastic

I can see from the back they have a two plastic clips, one end needs to be depressed and the other end lifted to slide the standoff sideways for removal,

But that just doesn't work - they are very brittle and seem to be stuck somewhat to the reflective white backing on the other side. They don't slide easily. I guess there is some cunning technique required, and I just don't have it!

Get needle nose pliers and push both holes at the same time from underneath. This should release it enough to slide out. The tape for the strips is also super sticky. You need to tap the end of a scraper with a rubber mallet.

          Watch this video:

Clip removal begins around 7:30. Basically you need to lift one end and then slide. Sounds like yours are embrittled by heat and time (Don't run the backlights at 100%!). May have to ask on forum if anyone has a bunch of spares that they can send you.
