I was given this tv. When it's cold it works fine. When it warms up it shuts down for a second then starts up again. I changed the caps but it's still doing the same thing. I turned the brightness level down and it seems to be fine so would have a have a faulty led strip?

So how low of the backlights (not Brightness) level you turn it down to?

Re: UN55fh6200 Rebooting when warm
I'll get some pics tomorrow. The highest level is 20 and I have it set to 5. I haven't incremented it to see how high it will go before it starts rebooting again. I got sidetracked. I plan to dig deeper into it tomorrow night.Comment

Re: UN55fh6200 Rebooting when warm
I would also remove the LED connectors, power supply to main board connectors and inspect them to see if any one of them has the sign of over heating, also try tapping on the boards, check board mounting screws, etc.Never stop learning

Re: UN55fh6200 Rebooting when warm
Usually an LED fault will just shut the TV down and not re-power over and over. You probably have a thermal issue somewhere. Since turning down the LEDs seems to help the issue, I would look at the LED driver portion of the PS.Comment

I have an air con appliance that doesn't always start when power is applied. I have removed the small control board which is separate from and supplied by a 24v power supply (that works fine) and inspected it for any obvious failed components but can see none. I have discovered that the board will start if I wave a hair dryer over it for a few seconds. The board appears to have no temperature sensors or sensitive components on it. Can anyone suggest what the most likely candidate for a failure mode of this form.
Many thanks.

by TR103Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
- sound and backlight, but no picture
- when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds

- without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
- without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
- when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

by plytekHi all.
I'm trying to fix my Samsung QE50Q60TA TV.
IT's rebooting every few seconds.
I have done some tests and it looks like it stops rebooting when I tape pin 46 (I thinks it's FB_1) on the ribbon tape that connects two boards atteched to screen, but nothing is visible, just backlight is solid and I can hear sound. Taping over other pins doesn't work.
Have also soldered two pins on the motherboard to check if I can get an image on the rights side of the tv, but it keeps rebooting.
Can anyone suggest what I can test and do to get it working again please?... -
by unimatrix93Hello everyone, I'm working on a Samsung TV that constantly rebooting.
MB/PSU unit: BN9654185QE
It loads up to the main menu then as soon as the backlight goes brighter it reboots.
First I suspected the LCD panel, so a disconnected the LCD display from the mainboard but did the same thing.
Then I removed the backlight connector which only delayed the bootloop by a minute maybe, I know it because I test it with the remote, it does gives the menu sounds a bit longer.
Also I have to note, that the MB/PSU combo gives out a very noticible... -
by chaos-theoryI have a really weird problem, this motherboard was working normally, someday it just started and all fans were running but didn't want to post, tried resetting bios, checking CPU and it was getting warm tried external gpu, flashed bios with programmer, but same problem.
Next day after several attempts the board goes into protection mode, no more staying on, I turn on the PSU fans starts directly turning, it used to not start until I press the pwr button, now it starts directly and fans spins, and shuts off after 3 seconds sometimes less, then won't start again unless I unplug the PSU and... - Loading...
