    tc-p50gt30

My is sc board is shorting out replaced the 30f131 and rf1501 .Soon as i turn the tv on it shorts out.So what i did was put a light bulb in power cord when i turn tv on it lights on for a sec or two and tv shouts off.I disconnect the sc board from power supply and bulb lights up.Also disconnect the ss board and bulb still lights up.When i disconnect Ps2 on power supply the bulb does not light up and gets a 8blink code.I was wondering if my power supply is shorted.Looks like that supplies power to sc board.

Upload photos of YOUR SC board with YOUR repairs.

Which 30F131 IGBTs did you replace?

There are usually 6 that burn out together Q401, Q402, Q403 and Q421, Q422, Q423. The diodes do not usually need to be replaced but may come in some kits. I have never had a diode fail in any of the TNPA5335 SC boards I've fixed.

I don't recall seeing the three 30F131 at positions Q621, Q622, Q623 fail so I usually leave them alone if they test ok.

Please reply with answers to my questions. I'm concerned you did not replace the correct IGBTs, or there may be more shorts that are still on the board.

I replaced the ones you mentioned and the diodes but soon as it turns on I hear a poping noise they short out.

Again, please upload photos of YOUR board, and YOUR repair.

          Did you replace all 6 IGBTs? Q401, Q402, Q403, Q421, Q422, Q423?

Are the IGBTs at Q621, Q622, Q623 ok?

Something is wrong. Re-test all transistors and diodes on the board before re-installing new ones. I think you might have missed other shorts that are on this board which caused re-failure.

Check also the low resistance gate resistors for each IGBT. I think they are 7.5ohm. If any are open then you need to replace.

Don't count out the possibility of using fake parts.

              Re: tc-p50gt30

Well after replacing transistors 3 times and them shorting out every time I powered the tv on.I checked resistors 8 ohms and also had replaced ic driver and transistor.I checked all caps, diodes and resistors they all tested good.
Saw tvtimmy on fake ones, tried another batch I have bought few months earlier they looked like better quality.Used them and the Sc board turn tv no more poping noise.Weird thing is a bought them from same supplier probably bad batch or fake.
Thanks for all your help.Tv is now working.

TOSHIBA DLP 52HM95 How to reset timer module on bulb
                  by repair-it
I replaced the bulb only on my Toshiba DLP The bulb is a TB-25. This is the first time I've done a bulb only replacement. Supposedly there is a timer module that needs to be re-calibrated or reset. I don't know where the module is located. I see some vendors selling the bulb with the housing stating module included which leads me to think the module is located inside the enclosure the bulb mounts in, but I didn't see it. Maybe it's inside the plug attached to the bulb?

Anyway - I am seeking information on how to reset this so called module so that the lamp will operate. Apparently...

                  LUMIMAN Smart Bulb IC ID?
                  by ezenia
                  Hi,

I have a LUMIMAN Smart Bulb that suddenly stopped lighting one day. The bulb is still detected in the app, but won't light. I've probed around and nothing seems to look off with any of the diodes, caps or resistors. The Bluetooth/Wi-Fi module seems to be working as it's still detected in the app. I even tried deleting and re-pairing the bulb (it didn't light, but I was still able to follow the pairing instructions), it re-paired fine, but still no light.

In diode mode, the LEDs all light up when probed so I'm guessing this means the LEDs themselves are OK. I was expecting...

                  by a316
briefly, one usb-c port, when connect when OS running, or in recovery mode, stays on 5v and 000 amp. If I reboot ( or connect usb-c on shutdown state), it makes 20v andbegins charging, until first disconnect/connect.

*** on shutdown state, it makes 20v, charging stops after 4-6 seconds in rare case,, sometimes never stops. If not disconnect, it stay on 20v and charges even after OS boot. after disconnect/connect (ON state) it always stays 5v 000 amp

it is not software issue, it happens only 1 port. other ports including magsafe3 is ok

IMAC A1418 / MB: 820-00430-a / does not turn on, Lights 3 of the 4 LEDs and turns off.
                  by gabrielA7
Does not turn on, lights 3 of the 4 LEDs and turns off and stays like this, presses the power and repeats.
I saw that the room LED lights up only when the screen is connected, so quiet.

We have all the power supplies, even processor, 1.8V
One thing I found strange, it has a very low resistance in the Vcore is giving 1 Ohm , work with notes and such, I know that this is normal in some processors but with this resistance only take video card so found it strange.

I suspect that there may be some leak in the processor.
Anyway, when I press the power, it...

When your mom is complaining about her new cheap lights
                  by evilkitty
My Mom bought some cheap motion sensor lights on wish... then complains about about batteries and this thing chews though them, well it uses 4 AAA batteries and a pack of rechargeable ones is about 13 USD

well since it uses 4 AAA and rechargeable are 1.2v and non-recharge at 1.5 this thing must work with 4.8-6v, I'll shove a USB cable on it, infant i will use a broken phone charge cable... dam this thing uses 430 mA and they made it battery powered...

lets ignore the fact that i thought the board fit both ways... and the wire color is reversed going to the board...
