I took IC602 out, but I still can't see the number.

You may have to buy a replacement kit (both boards for 70$) at SJ, look what that IC is, then sell the kit.

I have found an IC that may be can replaced this.

Thank you for your suggestion but this behavior is as same as cheating. I myself have been working so hard for the happiness and well-being of all mankind.

        Sorry I can't do that.

I have found an IC that may be can replaced this. It is a current mode PWM IC of which was designed for 3.3v STB.

In theory, if I put a 18650 3.7v battery. tv will work.

But problem is customer needs to charge battery from time to time.

Strange phenomenon....after I took out 8 pin IC. tv has no 3.3v STB voltage. But tv still consumes current 0.051A .

buying and selling isn't cheating. Buying looking at something, switching etc and sending it back, yeah that is.

Have you tried cleaning the ic with alcohol to see if there is a partial number?

yes i did but i used acetone to clean, 8 pins IC has a hole on the surface.

I see the picture of ic601 and it does look like most of the top of the ic is there, It looks like there is still some of the coating they use on the ic covering any number.
Sometimes if you look at it at a different angle you can see the number or whats left of it.
Also what is Q601, that might help in identifying the ic

It might be a FA5640N, Page 36 has the schematic and it does look close.

Today I am the happiest man in the world.

I'm blessed and I thank God for every day for everything that happens for me.

I grabbed a LG plasma tv jurk board next to me. Pic1
took out the part. it is a PWM ic for 180v converter....replaced with ic601.

and I pray for the Gods....yes tv works.

Ps. The circuits are for both 13v and 3.3v STB.

Is'nt that ic601? So what number was on the ic you used as a replacement? looks like it could be a NCP1200

                                sorry. my bad. It's ic601

                                you are a genius. Yes I replace with 200D6 = NCP1200D60R2G.

TV has been working for an hour.

So the principle of pwm IC is probably similar.
