    Can we see the pictures?
What is the LCD panel model number? Panel Sticker Number: CY-DF600CGSV2H?
Are these the LED strips? https://www.shopjimmy.com/samsung-bn...-12-strips.htm

Re: Samsung led strips not working

I disconnected the led strips and connected 4 9-volt batteries together to come close to the 42 volts that 14 leds would equal. I wired leads to the + & - of my batteries and touched the leads to the + & - of one of the strips. There were still leds that did not work, but the ones that did were very bright. Not sure what this proves beyond the fact that all of the strips have faulty leds on them.

Based on your picture, some of the LED's are shorted out, the LED strips are connected in series to form one large LED string.

yes i think that all of your strips do have faulty leds on them you could look on shop jimmy and see if they do the led strip kits for this set or maybe ebay for them just match the led strip numbers etc, but remember these strips are all from smashed screen sets etc so not sure how long they will last. The only other option if you have the time and equipment is too replace all the leds yourself.

Ok. Thanks for walking me through this. Sounds like the leds are not reliable long term. Time to decide if it is worth investing any more money in it or not.

leds are usually driven too hard so that why when we replace them we turn the backlight level down to make the replacement leds last longer 50 new leds can be brought for around £3.00 its just a matter or removing the lens then removing the old leds tthen replacing the lens yes its a time consuming job but if its a spare tv and you like doing this a hobby its worth doing.

The LED strips are not working. The power supply is BN44-00772A. I would like to know how to connect the power source without the main board connected to be able to test the led strips. I couldn't find the electric scheme of this power supply.

That power supply board should have built-in pull up resistors to perform self test without the main board connected. You should be able to power supply board with LED connector in place then the backlights should come on and stay on.
What Voltage testing have you done on the power supply board?
Make and model of the TV?
Also provide good clear straight shot of the whole top and bottom side of the power supply board and also pictures of the whole backside of the TV showing all the boards.

                        Power Supply BN44-00772A

When I turn on the TV the red standby led is flashing and does not turn on the LEDs. I removed the cable from the main board and turned on the TV again but the Leds did not light up. I connected an external source to the LED cable and they lit up. I would like to make a jump in the power supply to see if the Leds turn on and confirm if the defect is in the main board or in the power supply.

If the self test did not work, probably a powerboard issue, maybe start with easy to check things, check all the diodes if you have a multimeter.

I would like to know if I can jump start the power supply to confirm that it will send the correct voltages to turn on the LEDs and thus confirm that the problem is on the main board. There are 10 pins in the power supply and I don't know which ones to jump to force it to start.

Right now you have a problem with the powerboard if it was working correctly the backlights would have come on and stayed on when you unhooked the cable, per Buds post #50.

Did you remove the panel and observe all the LEDs lighting up? If there are multiple strings, there could be one string with an open. You need to confirm all your LEDs are good before suspecting the power supply.

Power up the power supply board by itself without main board connected to it, report the Voltage readings of the connector CNM803.
Since this LCD panel has LED strips connected in series, if one has open circuit then the whole string will not light up, you can verify by testing the Voltages at the LED connector's pins but you have to verify first if all the control signal pins have the control Voltages or not, they will if they have pull-up resistors and they can be verified by reading the Voltages at the CNM803 without main board connected.

BN44-00772A, Is this the exact match ed to your board since you did provide the pictures of your board? Is there darken area on the board in the LED driver section? We NEED to see straight shots pictures of YOUR board as requested.

                                    Ok.. this is the story:
Have an old Samsung LED 3D TV (UE55F6475). First it started to lose light on the lower 40% of the screen now and then. Like for 10-60 mins and then it would work again. Then a bit later it just got stuck in that position. The lower 40% of the screen is dark, and it gets progressively darker the lower u go so it's obviously that LED strips where not working. I also looked for similar errors online and saw an exact copy and on that one it was faulty LED strips.

This is kinda how it looked, just that mine were at the bottom of the screen:

                                    ...
