    1) We need pictures of the whole back side of the TV showing all the boards.
    2) Did you verify that you do have 12VDC feeding the T-CON board by checking the DC Voltage at both ends of the fuse against the chassis GND?

You could also try disconnecting one side at a time the FFCs to the Panel from the T-CON Bd to see if half a picture appears.

        Picture 1: Overall
        Picture 2: Powerboard
        Picture 3: Mainboard
        Picture 4: Subdigital board
        Picture 5: T-Con board

I'll need help finding the fuse you're talking about. This is my first time troubleshooting something like this. Same with the second suggestion. Thanks in advance for your time and effort

Fuse = FP1 (white body witj 'K' printed on top). You can also see Voltage test pad 'VIN12'
BTW, what is the history of the TV, someone work on it before?

Getting 12.23V on both sides of the fuse and the bottom solder point on the VIN12.

I bought the TV new. Worked fine for about 5 years until this issue. I swapped the T Con board but that’s the only work that’s been done on it.

Anything else I can check out? LED's? Or is there a way to check the panel?

Looks like you were on to something, I'm not sure what it means though. Second picture shows which one was disconnected when I got the half screen.

I would start looking for bad (shorted) caps on the tab bonding board where the Cable from the T-CON to the panel goes to.

The old T-CON board may be OK since the fault is in the panel.

what happens when you do the other side as suggested? It more than likely a panel problem but wait til you see the result... more suggestions there after.

I attempted the left ribbon connector first, the screen stayed black. When I removed the right one, that's when I got the split screen.

Being a noob, I'm not sure about some of the things you mentioned here. Somewhere I can look to see where on the board you mean and how to test?

ok... soooo... with that new information, it would appear that the problem is on the side that was disconnected and you got a picture on the other side.

you need to provide pictures of the bottom area showing the edge boards along the bottom all the way to the side corner. Then you need to look at long the side to see what tabs (like the ones on the bottom) that connected to the side of the panel... note you have to see these by removing the front bezel IF they, the tabs, exist.

I probably should add... do some reading of tab failures as there are lots of posts and do also as was suggested and look for failed components on the bottom edge boards associated with the side that doesn't work.

                                          Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
                                          - sound and backlight, but no picture
                                          - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
                                          - it keeps rebooting
                                          - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
                                          - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
                                          - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

Samsung UN60EH6000F Black Screen, Backlight and Sound Good. Power Cycle Returns Picture

I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and

Samsung UE60KU6079 backlight okay mainboard responsive, no picture, no sound

                                          Hello everyone,
Ive got a UE60KU6079 on the workbench that is giving me some headaches trying to troubleshoot.
The previous owner stated that there had been white dots on the screen which from the description sounded like some lenses fell of the backlight LEDs.
He had opened the TV from the back, trying to get to the backlight, supposedly gave up, reassebled everything and gave the TV to me.
I expected the worst like ripped COF cables or a cracked panel but could not find anything like that yet.
Anyway I still fully expect that there has been something seriously damaged...

Samsung UN70NU6900F no picture and no sound

                                          Hi all

I was just given a Samsung TV with the issue. I read various threads and videos and attempted the ribbon tape method to gain an image, but no luck.

                                          Symptom:
                                          No picture no sound.
When I plug in the power cord, Backlight LED turns on for a half second and then turns off. The red LED next to the power button located center bottom flashes 2 or 3 times. When the power button is pressed after, it does the same thing.
                                          No sound at all.

                                          What I tried:
                                          1. I tried unplugging the left or right ribbon...

so i took out one of my spare gigabyte ep35-ds3r mobos from storage for use to do some cpu, ram and video card testing of stuff i bought from ebay and got for free from momaka. he bought 50 e8400 cpus for cheap from ebay some years ago and i decided to help him relieve him of some of his supply since he had waaaay too many!! what did we say about hoarding too much stuff and depriving others of them?! *cough* socialism *cough* lol!

i had to blow some dust off the board and heatsinks with the datavac as i didnt clean it up before putting it in storage. after finishing...
