Re: Samsung PN58B650S1F Power Board Clicks, No Picture
.Sorry for butting in this thread, I have a e series plasma TV made in 2012 by Samsung, it seems to have the same problem as yours, the stand by voltage and lights are all good, when I turn it on the vs and va voltages are perfect, but the logic board and red light all blink and the TV displays a flash then a snow effect then turns fully off, then it turns itself on again and does the same thing over and over until I unplug the mainboard from the power supply, I don't know how to force turn on the power supply without the mainboard.
1. Take two (2) 120Vac household light bulbs and connect them in series as a 'test lamp'.
2. Disconnect the PSU from the Main, Y-Main and X-Main Bds., so the only connector that remain is the ac inlet cord.
3. On the connector that would have gone to the Main Bd., using an insulated wire connect the VS-ON and the STDBY pins.
4. On the same connector, using an insulated wire connect the PS-ON and the GND pins.
5. take the test lamp and connect it across the Vs and GND pins on the connector that would have gone to the Y-Main Bd.
6 Verify all connections you made are isolated and not shorting on any pin/s that it is not supposed to be connected to.
Plug in the ac cord.
7. If the PSU is working the test lamp should light up bright and remain lit.
8. Measure Va, 15v and all other voltages the PSU is supposed to produce and all voltages are present then PSU is GOOD.
9. If test lamp does not light up, unplug the ac and recheck connections are solid and in the correct places as described.
10. If everything is correct and no light up then PSU is defective.Comment

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

by m1ch43lzmHi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic... -
by ohrenI hope this is the right forum to post in despite not technically being a repair, but still a question of swapping boards.
I thought I'd explore the possibility to upgrade an existing working Samsung ue55nu7096u with the logic board (and power board if needed) of a newer model (ue55ru7105k) of the same size and appearance (and resolution). The reason being I'd like the extra inputs of that board including component in, an extra HDMI port and bluetooth. Its panel is broken so I have no use for the board otherwise.
The models launched in 2018 and 2019 respectively.... -

by ermalsHi all!
I've recently run into an issue with my Samsung UN55H8000AF LED TV displaying no image. I've done quite a bit of research in terms of what could be wrong with it. Below are the steps I've taken prior to reaching out here for some assistance:
1. I've tried replacing the T-Con board (BN95-01594A), twice and have still experienced the same issue with all the boards I've tested with.
2. I've tried to remove one side of the ribbon cable that goes from the T-Con board to the panel and still not getting any image on left or right side.
3. I've checked voltages... - Loading...
