    Envision L32W761

I have an Envision L32W761 TV with a broken LCD screen. The TV powers on, and I want to repurpose it as a light. I've removed mostly everything, but I am unable to figure out how to bypass the main board. I don't which pin controls the power-on function of the power supply board, part number 24200E4P (not labeled well).

The wires on the left go to the backlights.

The wires on the right go to the main board.
    Pins 1 & 2 - marked 15V, but not used
    Pins 3 & 4 - marked 12V, measure
    Pins 5 & 6 - marked 5V, measure 5.3V
    Pins 7 & 8 & 9 - marked GND - continuity checks out
Pins 10 & 11 & 12 - not marked - measures no voltage (When plugged in, but not on)
    Pin 13 - Not used

    When turned on
    Pin 10 - measures 3v
    Pin 11 - measures 1.9v
    Pin 12 - measures 3.3

I've tried hooking up the 5v from 5 & 6 to each and all of 10, 11, & 12, but it didn't turn on. I've also used a voltage regulator to give 3.3 volts to 10 & 12, and a voltage divider to get 1.9v to pin 11. It still won't power on.

I then re-connected the main board, and everything turned on, so I know I didn't damage anything.

Any help identifying what I need to do to bypass the main board would be appreciated.

    Samsung UN58TU7000F no picture
    by Yanleb
I have a Samsung UN58TU7000FXZC (same as UN58TU7000FXZA, just the Canadian model) with no picture. Backlight is on and sound is coming out just fine. Just no picture.

What is frustrating is that there's no voltage test point and no component labelling of any kind.

What I have found so far:
    1. No voltage at pins 91-94 of the 96 pins connector CN1300 (marked 1 on the picture). This TV set has no T-CON board. The 96 pin flex cable goes directly to the right (when facing TV) lower panel board. Itself is linked with another flex to the other side.
    2. Voltage...

    Hisense 43A7100FTUK 2/3 red blinks.
    by Donny2derby
    Hi again all.

Have got this set and trying to trouble shoot the above issue. I'm not sure if it's giving 2 or 3 standby blinks as one of them appears to be a very quick double blink.

The screen remains dead at all time. My fault finding so far has led me to what I believe is the barrier diode marked MBR B102 00CT. Which has two opposing diodes marked on it. And my meter is reading a dead short both ways when connected onto the board.

The reason I'm thinking this could be at fault is that everything up to there on the hot side tests and measures ok....

N channel mosfets testing as P type?

    Working on a smps.
Using Fluke 115. Red probe in red socket. Black probe in black/common socket. Meter set to diode mode.
Removed a pair of mosfets marked 1L02AB FDP
    26N40 from the circuit.
The pair of Mosfets are still screwed to the single heatsink. Mosfet printing facing me.
I did the test where I short the left and center pins. I put black probe on right pin and red probe on center pin. I get OL. While keeping black probe on right pin, I put red probe on left pin and get OL. After a few seconds I move red...

    Acer chromebook 311 c733 dead
    by smic717394
    Hi,

I need a bit of help identifying few ics or maybe locate the schematic. I have a Acer chromebook 311 c733, it have the usb c clocated on the daughter board damaged, the one on the motherboard at the first glance didn't look too healthy, but inspecting it under the microscope looks good enough. The laptop is dead, no light mothing.
I disconnect everything and connecting the usb chatger to the motherboard usb c, one of the IC gets mad hot, i cant find any info about it, its marked LE=7H (on the photo is marked red), it gets to about 90 degrees. Near by there is another...
