Vizio E60-E3 No power, No standby light

Hello all, i have a vizio that will not power on at all.
PS board part number is 09-60CAP0D0-00.
    PS output pins read
    1. VSNS __0V
    2-5. LED-OUT__0V
    6-10. GND__ohmed 0.2 or less
    11. +16V__16.3VDC
    12. AC-DET__1.8VDC
    13. PS-ON 0V
    14.+16VS__16.4VDC
    15.+16VS__16.3VDC

I was told that it was struck by lightening. Here's a pic of the power supply.

probably a bad main main IC on the main board.

I have ordered a main board & I'm waiting for it to be delivered. In the mean time is there a way for me to test the IC? Is ac det considered to be the standby voltage? It’s reading 1.8. Pressing the power button has no affect on the voltage reading.

The ac detect is not the StdBy voltage. With the ac applied, what voltage do you have across e-cap C2?

PSon is generated on the main board. So if you don’t get any PSon, the PSU won’t power up fully either.

Re: Vizio E60-E3 No power, No standby light

I've got the same model TV with the same basic problem:
                    - No power, no standby/power LED, power button does nothing
                    - Same readings on the power board pins
                    - EXCEPT Pin 12 (AC-DET) is ~3.5V when the board is powered
                    - AND I've confirmed there's no change on Pin 13 (PS-ON) when the power button is pressed

The TV was being thrown away because "it just stopped working".

Does this sound like the same problem as the OP or should I start a new post? Does the difference in Pin 12 voltage help with troubleshooting either of our TV's issues?

So you do not have any +16VS?

As I said, I have the same readings on the power board as the original poster except Pin 12. All +16v pins are fine (11, 14 & 15).

seeing that the op never posted back after relaying that he was getting a replacement mainboard, I'm going to guess that the new mainboard fixed it. All we can do IS guess when there's no followup. But I guess some people are just TOO important to be bothered with it.

i had ordered a main, doing the same thing. main not producing ps-on
voltage. i will assume that the main i got is also defective. being that
these board suffer the processor not doing its job. i'm always open to
repair input and always learning. more feed back. thanks.

I think there is a way to test whether the main IC is bad, by checking main bios. Check the VCC pin 8 is there a 3v, if yes you can then check pin 2 for the communication between the main chip and the bios.

                                  simple me, but im trying.
need some kind of run down on how this unit works. ac cord connected gives me 160plus
volts on c2. 16v on 3 pins and 3.9v on ac_det. question. is this normal procedure when
ac cord is connected. how is the standby produce. I have voltages on my on swisches.
they go down when power on sw is press and same with remote. yet i get no ps-on
voltage. nothing out to the lamps. i jump ps-on and got 16 plus volts on the lamp connector. a run down on whats happening will help alot. thanks.

I have a Vizio E550i-A0 that will not power on. It also does not display the standby light in the corner. I disconnected the main board cable to see if the backlights would light but they did not (maybe this is normal for this set?). I checked the voltages on the plug and they all read in mV or 0, so there's no voltage there. The fuses are ok, and the voltages of the 450v caps read about 160v. I see no visual damage on either the power supply or main board. I have read online that the main board is usually the culprit in this model, but not getting backlights with the main disconnected makes me...

                                          Hi everyone,
I'm trying to troubleshoot and repair this old LG OLED curved TV, model 55EG910V.
I did some basic troubleshooting and reviewed most related posts here, but I wasn't able to isolate the issue.

The TV shut itself off during playback and never came back to life - the standby light remains off. My dad claims that it has happened a few times in the past but the issue resolved itself after some time. Not this one.

After checking the basics I did the following:
                                          • I measured all voltages and as expected the only active supply is the 3.5V standby. It

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                          Assuming...

Sony Bravia XBR-65x900f: No Power, No Standby-light - however 3.3v STBY is present

                                          Hey All,

                                          I have a Sony 65x900f that I purchased cheap because of a no-power issue.
I assumed that because there is no standby light visible, it would be an easy fix - however upon opening up of the unit I can confirm that the 3v3 standby voltage is making it's way from the power supply to the main board. I'm a little confused as to why there is no standby light.

I am firstly wondering if anyone has this model of TV, or has worked on one and can give me some insight. I have tried to find a service manual for this model, to no avail - and would really appreciate...

Sony 55X900E no standby light, no power. Replaced mainboard already

                                          No standby red light, nothing
This Sony has a separate AC->DC power adapter supplying 19.5V to the TV power board (JK3)

Disconnected JK3 power board from main board, checked voltages on all the pin outs

At a few pins I can see the power supply providing 19.5V to the main board

Based on the service manual triage.. it seems to be pointing towards the power board (JK3) being the most possible culprit

LED light turns on when I disconnect LED driver board ribbon from mainboard (so i thought it is the mainboard,...
