    Insignia ns-48d510na15

No backlight but sound. I found one thread but no one seems to be responding to my reply. I checkes for power at the black and white led wire connector. connected i get a reading of 226 with it not connected im getting 320. And 0 on white side for both tests. Whats going on. Also the board makes a pretty decent buzzing sound ?????? Also when i ohm out the led strip wires it reads open or ol ???

You can not check the resistance of the led string, if you get 226 across the leads going to the led's in the panel, the leds should light up for a second at least, if they do not you likely have bad led's in the panel
but going by the pictures, thats the best I can come up with.

Ar those readings with ref. to chassis GND?

Yes to chassis ground ... Using just the tv bracket as ground is that not right ? Where would be a suitable ground to go to ??

Just want to make sure you are using the correct GND. So you do have Voltage feeding to the LED sring at one end but nothing coming out on other end per your reading then it means you have open circuit in the LED sting some where. Do you have LED tester to test the function of the whole LED string?

Based on ifo about how many LEDs it has in the panel, 60 of them so @226V the LEDs should at least light up for seconds, nut since you get 0V at one end then the problem is open circuit some where as I indicated.
