LG 50pm6700 with shorted upper buffer board

I have a 50PM6700 that has a shorted upper buffer board so I removed the board and tested the tv. As you can see it has two transparent grey bands on the bottom half. Is this another problem or just due to the upper board being removed ?

It's likely your lower buffer to panel connections are not seated properly. or it could be a bad lower buffer also

Yep....Turned the TV back on now no lower picture at all and the Ysus voltages were jumping around like crazy. Disconnected the lower buffer too and now my ysus voltages are back good and stable. Looks like I'm on the hunt for buffer boards.
