Just thought I would update that I tried to press on the heatsinks and other components to see if the picture would change and it did not nor did heating any of them up. The picture also did not change with either tcon board so I have my original one in now.

I took pictures of a proper video source and as you can see it detects the proper resolutions and did auto switch to the proper hdmi input.

Does this lead you to believe it is now the mainboard that we discussed earlier? If so I'll just order one and return the tcon since it doesn't appear to be the problem.

Would have liked to see if a factory reset made any difference.

Hi Nomo,

I attempted it with the universal remote that I had but it wouldnt work. The menus would quit out on me. My friend threw out the original remote (which sucks). Havent had a chance to go back to it and try again nor have I purchased another board.
