EAX61319402 Poor picture, Y sus problems in 50PJ550 LG

Hi, I wonder if someone can help me with this beast.
Ive been repairing plasma TVs for years but this one is extremely stubborn and gives me lots of grief

Y sus: EAX61319402 EBR63039802, came up with open safety resistor 2.2 ohm supplying V sustain voltage RAMP UP mosfet. I didn't find any other issues on that Y sus so just replaced the resistor but it went again. The fault was very poor picture with red sparklies and no image reset (so-called 'black hole' on display) The waveform on the scope looked bad, but I read sustain pulses and scanning wave, obviously no 400V reset pulse due to no supply to ramp transistor

I was advised by other engineers that I should replace all other sustain IGBTs even if the read correct on the meter, so I did so, but powered up the TV and there was 2 big bangs- this time the newly fitted igbts on Y sus blew up and the Z sus (4x igbts blew)

Repaired the Z sus but was told that if I repair Y sus again, blue ceramic disc caps must be changed as well, so I had replaced them with 4x 101k 1kV coz i didnt have the right ones (102k, 1kV), this time round the unit comes on, but theres almost nothing on the screen, on the scope, Y/Z sus pulses look ok, but reset pulses are very slanted and the main initialize pulse missing again, obviously the bloody resistor R426 died again

I checked all circuitry around the RAMP UP Q, all read good on the meter, does someone have any cure for this fault, sustain heatsinks are cold as stone only energy recovery mosfets are heating up, but mostly, no raster.

Vs, Vy-, Vscan all correct, I replaced all original Qs with RJP63F3 which normally work on SUS UP half as they are rated 600V 200A in pulse any ideas any plasma man there to help?

    thanks a million

One more question to add here: what is the function of these blue ceramic disc caps in between collector and source of the transistor, I know it has something to do with bypassing, perhaps spikes damping or snubbing, but if capacitance is slightly different will it affect switching circuit like in my case? Many thanks

      Hello,
on this laptop hp g72 b52sf i have screen problems as you can see with the photo joined in attachments.
the used graphic card is "intel hd graphics" and the id of the integrated screen is : "monitor/SEC3354".
i verified the driver of the péripherals and they are ok. i verified the definition and settings of the graphic card and of the screen : definition 1600x900 and refreshment frequency :60hz. (they are the sames for the graphic card and the screen).
i don't understand the reasons of the white stripe at the bottom of the screen below the task...

      USB problems?
      by Hondaman
Recently I discovered my SSD died (OCZ/Toshiba 240 GB). It was in a USB enclosure, attached to the Linksys WRT-AC1200 router. Since then I removed the USB enclosure and attached it to my Win7 PC (AMD 8150 CPU, 970 chipset, 64 GB RAM). I also gathered one or two other USB enclosures to figure out what is going on.

(I suspect that I lost quite a few MP3 and FLAC files I recently ripped from my audio CDs, I think I lost very little un-replaceable stuff.)

I think it is IMPOSSIBLE for Win7 to have any problems with a USB enclosure as long as Win7 knows how to speak to the...

Lenovo 11e problems (any sata hdds are not recognized, sleep battery drain)
      by clabr
Need help to solve some problems with this laptop.

After working in bed with it one night and heating up too much (probably the cause of this problems) the sata HDD OS windows froze
After restart the original Sata HDD was not recognized anymore (but works fine in other laptops or PCs)

Tried connecting other good Sata 2.5 HDDs but not one is working in this laptop anymore (not the original nor others)

Before this had happened I observed some other problems:
When I tried replacing original mecanical HDD with a SSD HDD could not get them...

      Samsung UN55JU650DF network/streaming problem
      by howardc64
Fixed a 9 year old UN55JU650 by replacing backlight. Original backlight LED was still working after 27k! hours but terrible picture of course. Few LEDs were out, 5-6 lens fell off (bright white spots) and another few popped off with slightest force. Surviving LEDs were all slightly blue so picture has a blue tint.

This TV runs older Tizen OS (updated to latest version, see pic) and have problems with network (wifi or ethernet) connection. The Tizen UI frequently switch to coax input source while changing content sources. . If no good signal (coax not connected, no prior antenna/cable...

display screen problems after changing motherboard
      by jean luc ferre
      Hello,
First on my laptop i had a motherboard with a pentium 6100 processor. Installing w11 i was blocked on the 23h2 version...impossibility to upgrade toward 24h2 because the SSE4.2 functionnality of the cpu was missing. About displaying and screen looking all was perfect.
I changed of motherboard with an intel I3 processor...and now i don't find the previous aspects of the displaying.
Now i have a veiled screen and pixels are missing though the graphics parameters have not changed.
Desinstalling and reloading the drivers in the same time on the graphic card (intel hd...
